Donna Marie (Dolquist) Springsteen passed away at the University of Minnesota Hospital on Tuesday, April 2, 2014, at the age of 76.
On Friday, April 11, 2014, we will celebrate Donnas Homegoing with the viewing starting at 10:30 AM and the service starting at 11:00 AM at Saron Lutheran Church, 311 Lake St. S., Big Lake, MN 55309. The repass (luncheon) following the service is also being held at Saron Lutheran Church. Funeral arrangements are with the Peterson-Grimsmo Chapel of Monticello.
Donna loved to go fishing by day and play Bingo by night. She liked to crochet, do needlepoint, and play Yahezz and Farmville on Facebook. Our family would like to thank all the people that sent condolences and well wishes.
Donna was preceded in death by her husband James Walter Springsteen, Sr., on July 6, 2003; her parents Columbus and Lulu (Walden) Dolquist; 13 siblings; and one granddaughter. She was a loving mother of six children Jim (Christina) Springsteen, Jr., Chuck (LeAnn) Springsteen, Tina (John) Lamere, Donald (Sue) Springsteen, Michael Springsteen and Joe (Alexander) Springsteen. She is also survived by two brothers Leon Dolquist and Valgene Dolquist; 19 grandchildren; and 24 great grandchildren.
