The death of Mrs. Ida M. Baker, 67, occurred at noon yesterday at her home, 5 Wyoming Street, following an illness.
She was born in Germany and came to this country at an early age, living for some time at Mauch Chunk. She had resided in Wilkes-Barre for the past 50 years.
Surviving are two daughters, Claire, at home, and Mrs. C. L. Haines, Wilkes-Barre; two sons, Edward Baker, Wilkes-Barre, and George Baker, Mauch Chunk; one brother, A.J. Miller, Newark, J.J.; also four sisters, Mrs. Vena Britton, Mrs. Emma Frederickson, Mrs. Benjamin Mandloff and Mrs. John Estrang, all of Mauch Chunk. Two grandchildren also survive.
The funeral will be held Monday afternoon at 1 from the Harold C. Snowdon Funeral Home, 64 North Franklin Street, with Rev. Harold G. Deisher of Christ Lutheran Church officiating. Burial will be in Mt. Greenwood cemetery. Friends may call tonight and Sunday.
