She was born in Lafayette Township and was a lifetime Medina County resident. Mrs. Allen was a member of United Church of Christ Congregational and was a former member of E.E.S. and Pythian Sister Lodge. She was a homemaker.
Mrs. Allen is survived by her daughter-in-law, Janice Beck Hibbard of Fort Collins, Colo.; grandson, Brian F. Beck of Seattle; granddaughter, Ann Wojtowick of Fort Collins; great-granddaughters, Devin and Carleigh Beck, both of Seattle, and Audrey Wojtowick of Fort Collins; niece, Susan Kuzich; and nephews, Fred Greenwood III, Fred Greenwood Jr. and Rob Rapp.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, John M. Beck and Gilbert S. Allen; son, John M. Beck; and brother, Sidney H. Lance.
Service: 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at Waite & Son Funeral Homes, Medina Chapel, 765 N. Court St., Medina. The Rev. Ted Elsenheimer will officiate.
Burial: Spring Grove Cemetery, Medina.
