Philadelphia, 28 November 1781, m. at the residence of Samuel Pleasants, 'Fine Creek,' Powhatan county, 28 June 1800 James Carter, M.D., of Prince Edwards County, Virginia, b. 3 May 1769, and had:
Sally Logan Bolling, b. 9 June 1839, d. 25 April 1892; m. 7 April 1858 Thomas Cowles Shearer, of Mobile, Alabama, and had…."



Interment at Curles Neck Plantation not confirmed.
