Services for Jackie Caples, 71, of Spring, will be held July 15, 2017 in the Oakley-Metcalf Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in the Whitehouse Cemetery.
Mrs. Caples was born February 14, 1946 in Houston, Texas, the daughter of the late Ruth (Lane) and G.W. Presswood. She passed away Thursday, July 13, 2017 at her residence.
Mrs. Caples was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, James W. and Shirley Scott and Jack L. and Angela Scott; daughter, LaWayne R. Ciarella; sisters, Jean Studer and Helen P. Deleon; former husband, Paul W. Scott; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Caples was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmy D. Caples; son, Brian Craig Scott; and son-in-law, Roy J. Ciarella.
