Services for Elva Ashley were today
Inglewood - Services were today at Inglewood Park Cemetery for Elva Margaret Ashley, 61, former Mendocino Community Hospital nurse, who died Sunday in Covina after a long illness.
Born in Medford, Oregon, she had lived in Ukiah for 20 years and worked at Coummnity Hospital 16 years as a licensed vocational nurse and certified operating room technician.
A member and past president of the LVN Association, Mrs Ashley had belonged to the American Association of Retired Persons, and was a volunteer in the RSVP.
Surviving are a daughter, Susan Louise Ashley of Covina; her mother, Margaret McKinnis of Oregon; and a brother, Warren McKinnis of Washington.
