Born in Marion, McDowell Co., N.C., on Novemeber 13, 1951, Donna Lynn Beam was the daughter of Donald Edward Beam and Mary Alice Runion Beam.
On June 21, 1959, North of Marion, McDowell Co., N.C., Donna Lynn Beam, only 7 years of age, was killed in an automobile accident, as a passenger in the vehicle involved.
She was in the first grade at Glenwood Ele/High School. Students at her school were very saddened of the news of her death.
