Acker, Kathleen Kathy Acker, Kathleen, 70, of Maitland, FL died March 18, 2014. Kathy, daughter of Stewart and Ruby Clapp, and widow of Ron Acker, was born in Orlando, Florida and passed away Tuesday evening after a long battle through many medical challenges. She was well known throughout the Central Florida community through her support of the Trinity Anglican Church, Winter Park Art Festival, Children's Miracle Network, and ORRA Affordable Housing Foundation. Kathy and Ron, founded REMAX 200 Realty, REMAX Town & Country, and Leading Edge Title, which are industry leaders in Central Florida, remain family owned and operated, and will continue to grow in their legacy in the years to come. Kathy was an amazing example of what a mother, sister, wife and friend should be. She loved unconditionally and forgave without thought. She taught her three sons how to live life and be a gentleman. She loved her three sisters Mary Armstrong, Rose Clinton and Suzy Bagley. She loved her daughter in-laws and her grandchildren more than anyone could describe or understand, but she most loved her Lord God. Her unwavering faith was inspirational to all around her. She is now at peace in heaven dancing with her beloved husband. We love you and will miss you but know you will remain with us always. There will be a memorial service held Thursday, March 27th 2014 at Kress Memorial Chapel, 746 Formosa Ave, Winter Park, FL 32789 beginning at 2:30pm.
