She was born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, April 1, 1922, to Frank and Agnes (Edwards) Dorsch. Her husband, Howard Carr, died in 1990.


Surviving are two sons, George Carr and Richard Carr; a sister, Elaine Leinenbach; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.


Mrs. Carr was a retired factory worker.
