Grave side services were conducted at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, November 19, 1995, for John B. Barnett, Jr., age 18, of Corsicana. These services were officiated by Reverend Kenneth Hill. Interment was at Myrtle Cemetery, with Charles Richardson, Darrell Richardson, James Richardson, James Wayne Richardson, Kenneth Norton and Robert Watson serving as pallbearers, under the direction of the Lawrence Funeral Home.
Mr. Barnett died Saturday, November 18, 1995, at Navarro Regional Medical Center in Corsicana.
Mr. Barnett was born in Corsicana, Texas on December 4, 1976, the son of John and Martha Richardson Barnett, Sr. He was a student and was affiliated with the Assembly of God Church.
He is survived by his parents of Corsicana; two brothers, and sisters-in-law, Kenneth and Regina Norton of Corsicana; Percy and Virginia Barnett of Princeton; one sister, Margaret Barnett of Corsicana; one half sister and her husband, Betty and John Willis of Bedford; several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. On November 2, 1995, he was preceded in death by a sister, Gloria Jane Wildman.
