She was born in Richmond, Virginia on April 30, 1933 to the late Francis Temple and Fannie Lee Ford Butler. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Mac McFadden, brother, Temple and Johnny and a sister Joyce.
She retired from the school system as food service director.
Left to cherish her memories includes her children, Wayne McFadden (Tracey); Darlene Watson (Joe); grandchildren Joe Watson (Michelle), Megan Watson (Roy), Jonathan McFadden, Kayleigh McFadden; 2 great grandchildren, Kaleigh and Garrett; sister Patricia Gee.
Graveside services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Gaston Memorial Park, Hillcrest Ext. section with Reverend Jeff Hicks officiating with the releasing of the doves.
