Ogdensburg-Robert George Vine, 84, died Jul 8, 2017 at his home. Funeral services at Frary Funeral Home in Ogdensburg with Deacon Mark Lalonde officiating. Internment at Foxwood Mausoleum. Robert is survived by his first wife Doris Bost which ended in divorce; he is widowed by his second wife, Constance Prashaw Vine. He is survived by his children, Scott and Brenda Vine; Kimberly Vine; Todd and Theresa Vine; Nicole Vine and Timothy Gilson; the late Tina Sanderson; Earl Sanderson and Scott and Brandy Sanderson; 6 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren; 3 sisters, Dorothy Mitchell; June and Robert Lovely and Leona and Otis Bishop; one brother Billy and Cathy Vine; by his companion Joan Stevenson. He was born on Jul 22, 1932 in Ogdensburg to William and Leona Shollette Vine. He attended OFA and the USAF from 1952-1956. After leaving the service, he worked on the St. Lawrence Seaway Project and then at St. Lawrence Psychiatric Center. Robert was a carpenter by trade with his brother Billy in a contracting business. He worked at Alcoa 1979-1997.
