He was a member of Goshen United Methodist Church and the Men's Club. Mr. Sutton was a retired farmer.
The funeral will be conducted at 3 p.m. today in Goshen United Methodist Church by the Revs. Tom Supplee and Allen Mayo. Burial will be in Wayne Memorial Park in Goldsboro. Royal-Hall Funeral Home of Clinton
Mr. Sutton is survived by his wife, Mildred S. Sutton; two daughters, Peggy Brewer of Faison and Brenda S. Warren of Newton Grove; a son, Lambert M. Sutton of Rocky Mount; six grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends at the home.
Memorials may be made to the Suttontown Rescue Squad or to the Goshen United Methodist Church building fund.
