Narcissus Jane (Jarvis) Starkey married Charles Kirby Rainey 24 Jul 1881 at the home of Charles's brother-in law and his half-sister, William H & Mary Francis Rainey Simmons, Hardeman County, TN.

Funeral services were held here at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon for Mrs. C. K. Rainey who died Thursday night about 11 o'clock at her home at Swink, Okla., the result of a heart attack. The service was conducted at the Manton-Fry funeral chapel, conducted by Dr. F. L. Wear of Central Presbyterian church and burial at Evergreen cemetery.

Mrs. Rainey, born June 30, 1862, is survived by her husband, three daughters and one son, besides her sister, Mrs. J. P. Bramhall of Paris.
