Ruth Jean Dickey, 78, of Stigler, passed away Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at Haskell County Hospital in Stigler. She was born February 18, 1939 at Kinta, Oklahoma to James and Martha (Smith) Kelly. Ruth grew up at Pocassett where she graduated high school. She married John Dickey October 24, 1964 and they made their home in Chickasha for many years and Pearland, Texas and then moved to Stigler in 1980. Ruth loved gardening, making flower beds look pretty, loved cooking Sunday Dinner’s for her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Ruth is preceded in death by her parents, James and Martha Kelly; a sister, Brenda Frye. Funeral Services will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, July 8, 2017 at Trinity Baptist Church. Burial will follow immediately to Sans Bois Cemetery under the direction of King & Shearwood Funeral Home in Stigler.
