Obituary - Devon Kenneth Andreasen, 62, of Ogden, died Wednesday, April 2, 1986, at McKay-Dee hospital in Ogden, of heart failure. He was born Oct. 22, 1923, in Tremonton, a son of Aaron and Myrtle Ivy Robbins Andreasen.

He married Nada Cottle on Jan. 19, 1952, in Logan. He was a retired aircraft sheet metal repairman at Hill Air Force base. He had been a member of the LDS Church. He had served in the U.S. Army during World War II and the Korean War. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars.

He was reared in Cache valley and attended Cache Valley schools. He had attended Utah State university. He had lived in Cache Valley, Smithfield and Ogden.

Surviving are his widow of Ogden, three sons and three daughers: Aaron D. Andreasen, Leonard C. Andreasen, Russel A. Andreasen, all of Ogden; Mrs. Brent (NaDean) Sampson, Riverside; Mrs. Kenny (Louise) Byrne, Roy; Mrs. Greg (Doris) Buck, Ogden; 14 grandchildren. Also surviving are five brothers and two sisters. He was preceded in death by one son.

Services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at Myers mortuary in Ogden. The family will meet friends at the mortuary Friday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m.
Interment in the Smithfield cemetery, where military honors will be accorded by the VFW.
