She was born in Cheshure, Allegan County, April 4th, 1869, the daughter of Mr. And Mrs. James Franklin Smith.
She leaves four brothers, John A. and Silas, both of Decatur; William, Watervliet and Edwin of Ionia; 2 sisters, Mrs. Hattie Forbes, Decatur and Mrs. Cora Palmer of Washington State.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Sunday at Newel and Sons funeral home the Rev. John Lemke officiating burial will be in Lakeside cemetery."
