William Cleo Jones, age 86, of Falmouth, Kentucky, passed away on Friday, May 13, 2011, at his home. Born in McCreary County, Kentucky, on July 1, 1924, he was a son of the late Ed and Relda Vanover Jones. He was the last surviving member of his immediate family. He married Pauline Wilson Jones, and his dear wife preceded him in death on August 10, 1999. Formerly, he worked as a maintenance foreman with Metal Treating, in Cincinnati, Ohio. He loved camping, fishing and gardening.
He is survived by: three children, James Morris Jones, of Falmouth, Brenda Brown, of Walton, and Frosty Jones, of Jonesville, in Grant County; seven grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Sunday, May 15, at Woodhead Funeral Home, in Falmouth. The visitation will be from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Interment will take place in Short Creek Cemetery, in Pendleton County.
