Services for Tom Hart Rushing, 71, were held at the Union Hall Baptist Church on Sunday, Dec. 3 at 11:00 a.m. Officiating minister was the Rev. Edwin Burns, and burial was in the Union Hall Cemetery. Arrangements were by the Hartman Funeral Home.
Mr. Rushing, who was a farmer in the Union Hall community, died suddenly on Thursday, Nov. 30 at 2:15 a.m. after suffering a stroke.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Grace Bessonette Rushing; one son, Thomas C. Rushing of Oakland, Calif; one daughter, Mrs. Geneva West of Bellinger, Texas; 3 grandchildren, and many nieces and nephwes
