Death From Pneumonia of William Sheets Harrison in Chicago

(not verbatim)

William Sheets Harrison died in Chicago on Tuesday last, after a brief illness of pneumonia. He was the son of the late Col Irwin Harrison and grandson of the late William Sheets and the nephew of President Harrison. Most of his short life was spent in this city and since removal to Chicago six years ago, he has been a frequent visitor here. . . . He moved to Chicago to take charge of the B. & O. Kankakee Dispatch for that city and was afterward appointed assistant general freight agent for the Milwankee and St. Paul Railroad Company which position he held at the time of his death. Although but only twenty-five years of age, he was regarded as one of the best men in the service of his company. Young Harrison was unmarried and devoted his life to his mother and three sisters, who survive him. His remains will arrive here at 3:00 o'clock this afternoon and will be taken to the First Presbyterian Church, where services will be conducted by Rev. Dr. M. L. Haines.
