Miss Cochran was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church and was president of the Kramer Reid Circle of the church.
She also was a charter member of the Rebekah Lodge No. 74 of the Independent order of Odd Fellows in which she had served in all the offices.
She was a former employee of Adair-Hutton in Lexington and prior to her retirement had worked for some years as a bookkeeper for the Forget-Me-Not Flower Shop.
Surviving in addition to her mother is one brother, Ira H. Cochran, Jr. of Lexington.
The Rev. James W. Draper conducted the funeral Saturday in Harrison’s Funeral Home. Burial followed in Stonewall Jackson Cemetery.
