ASHEBORO - Resal Alfred Craven, 72, of Route 1, Seagrove, died Tuesday at his home.
Funeral arrangements are incomplete at Pugh Funeral Home.
A native of Randolph County, he was a self-employed building contractor, a member of Pleasant Hill United Methodist Church and the former secretary of the Sunday school, trustee, and chairman of the building committee.
Surviving are wife, Mrs. Clatie Belle Kiser Craven; son, Resal A. Craven Jr. of Baton Rouge, La.; sister, Mrs. D.M. Weatherly of Atlanta; brothers, John E. Craven of Oak Ridge, Tenn., William A. Craven, Kermit Craven, both of Seagrove, Jack Craven of Franklinville, Sidney Craven of Asheboro, Don R. Craven of Atlanta.
