Lois Elizabeth Garwood of Milwaukie died of causes related to age Feb. 3 in a Milwaukie care center. At her request, no service was held. Mrs. Garwood was 84.

She was born Sept. 3, 1906, in Auburn, Neb. She married Melville Garwood in 1946 in Topeka, Kan. Mrs. Garwood was a homemaker. She and her husband owned and operated Garwood's Dock in Lakeside for a number of years.

She had lived in the Portland area for five years and was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Portland. Her husband died in 1978.

Mrs. Garwood is survived by her sister, Helen Cooper of El Toro, Calif.

Note: Lois's husband Melville Garwood died in Apache Junction AZ. Private Cremation was at the Greenwood Memorial Park in Phoenix AZ.
