She & husband, 'Dunk'(1850NY-1928IA; s/o Alex & Patience MILNE), farmed 4 miles East of Fredericksburg, Chickasaw Co., IA until after 1900 when Dunk retired from farming & went into business with Paul Morf in Fredericksburg selling buggies, surreys, & farm machinery. He suffered from asthma & thus travelled to New Mexico frequently.
Sarah was stricken with appolexy at 4:30AM (7FEB1928) & died at 2:15 that afternoon, only a few hours after the death of her husband, Duncan, who had died at 12:15AM that morning.
Duncan & Sarah(Sis) had resided on a farm 4 miles east of Fredericksburg in Chickasaw County.
