Blanche L.Wischnak 98, a resident of Villa of St. Francis Nursing Home in Morris died Tuesday Sept. 25, 1990 at the home. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Paul's Loon Lake Lutheran Church of rural Vergas, Minnesota.
With the Rev. Ellsworth Wippich officiating Burial will be in the church cemetery. She was born on March 26,1892 near Muscatine, Iowa the Daughter of Henry and Anna(Roth) Weikert
She was baptized and confirmed at Muscatine and attended school there through eighth grade when she moved to Frazee with her parents when she was a young girl . In Oct 1915 she married Fred Wischnak in Frazee. The couple lived and farmed near Vergas. Mr. Wischnak died on August 24,1961.
Following her husband's death she continued to live on the farm until 1979, when she moved to Morris. She was a member of the St. Paul's Loon Lake Church and ladies aid.
Survivors include two son's Donald of Morris and Bernard of St.Paul; 13 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren and One Great-Great-grandchild. Visitation will be Friday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Larson Funeral Home in Pelican Rapids and will resume one hour prior to the service at the church .
