Don C Clark (Oct 26, 1926-Oct 13, 2016)

Don was born in Georgetown, Idaho to Rhoda Kunz and LeGrand Clark. He was born in the family home on the Springdale Farm, where he lived the entire 89 years of his life.

Don went to elementary and high school in Georgetown. While in high school he met the love of his life, Ellen Passey. They were married June 26, 1945 in the Logan LDS Temple. There first home was a sheep camp, where Don rode for a cattle association for the summer. Don farmed and ranched his entire life on the Springdale Farm.

He was an avid horseman and loved good horses and made good horses. He had a good eye for cattle. He was very involved with cutter/chariot races and cow cutting, where he traveled all over the United States and Canada. He was very successful in the show arena. Because of his reputation and honesty, he was a judge in the National Cutting Horse Association.

He was appointed as a Bear Lake County Commissioner and served two elected terms. He was a faithful member of the LDS church and served in many callings.

Don and Ellen were blessed with five children; Paul C (Vicky), Dale N (Barbara), Mary Ellen (Fred) Wells, Bob D (Sherry) and Dawn (Darrell) Wright. In June they celebrated 71 of marriage.
