Funeral services were held on Sunday afternoon from the New Corinth Baptist Church with the Rev. G.D. Ricketson and the Rev. R.C. Drawdy, officiating. Interment was in the Galbreath Family Cemetery with the Frank Murchison Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Pallbearers, all nephews, were: Delmas Galbreath, Robert Galbreath, Abbie Thompson, S.L. Galbreath, G.C. Galbreath, Eddie Whitfield.
Survivors include one daughter, Miss Sadie Galbreath, Vidalia; 1 son, Edgar Galbreath, Savannah; three sisters, Mrs. A.P. Thompson, Mrs. Henry Thompson, Mrs. Annie Whitfield, all of Vidalia; three brothers, George Galbreath, Ailey, Tom Galbreath and Elijah Galbreath, Vidalia; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
