PERRYSVILLE, Ind. - Carolyn Jean Warner, 64, of Perrysville, passed away at 4:20 p.m. EDT Sunday, June 25, 2017, at Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis.

She was born Feb. 2, 1953, in Danville, Ill., the daughter of the late Everett and Bertie Jane Howard Sr.

Carolyn first married Sonny Thompson, who survives. She later married her soul mate, Darrell "Gene" Warner, on Sept. 7, 1999, in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. He preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2012.

Survivors include her children, Eddie (Gen) Thompson of Perrysville, Ind.; Cheryl (Vincent) Nittoli and Lori (Todd) Nafziger, both of Indianapolis, Ind.; Terry Warner of Florida; 12 grandchildren, Corey Hackl, Ciarra Thompson, Tamela Hackl, Kameron (Katelyn) Thompson, Danielle Thompson, Alec Nittoli, Ryan Nittoli, Allyson (Brandon) Weber, Brooke Nafziger, Lacey (Tim) Gentry, Seanna Burgess and Amanda (Adam) Spafford; five great-grandchildren; one sister, Bev (Butch) Howard of Danville, Ill.; two brothers, Larry Howard of Newport, Ind., and Everett "Doc" (Christine) Howard of Perrysville, Ind.; brother-in-law, Roy Geiger of Crawfordsville, Ind.; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend and very special "Thank You" to Crystal Meece.

Carolyn was preceded in death by one sister, Arlene Geiger, and one brother, Eddie Howard.

Carolyn was the production manager at WorkSource in Danville, Ill. She enjoyed working in her flower gardens, working with the family T-shirt business, Thompson's T-shirts, watching "Law and Order" and "NCIS."

Carolyn loved taking care of her family, and her three cats Pixie, Dixie and Trixie.

The family would like to say a special "Thank you" to WorkSource for appreciating her for all of her hard work and dedication for the past 17 years.
Funeral services: 4 p.m. EDT Wednesday, June 28, at DeVerter Funeral Home in Cayuga, Ind. Officiating: Ashton Stewart. Burial: Hicks Cemetery in Perrysville, Ind. Visitation: 2 p.m. EDT until time of services on Wednesday, June 28.
