Born in Augusta, GA, on Christmas Eve of 1942 and a lifelong resident of Aiken County, SC, she was a daughter of the late Clinton and Pearl Cochran Campbell. She was a Homemaker and was a member of Warrenville Church of God. Mrs. Shearer enjoyed housework, yardwork, cooking, and going to goodwill stores and yard sales. She was known for cooking big dinners at Christmas and Thanksgiving.
In addition to her husband and parents, family members include her children, Eddie Shearer and his wife, Michelle, Graniteville, SC and Donald Shearer and his wife, Brianna, Beech Island, SC; siblings, Lucille Swearingen, Graniteville, SC, Vickie Hicks, Warrenville, SC, Harold Campbell, Graniteville, SC and Sonny Campbell, Warrenville, SC, grandchildren, Blake Shearer, Cody Shearer, Steven Shearer, Kenny Shearer, Kaitlyn Shearer and Rev. James Depirro and his wife, Sarah and great-grandchildren, Kathryn, Elijah and Isiah Depirro.
