Sonny Bigham, 65, of Lubbock, passed away Saturday, Feb. 17, 2007, at his residence.
Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, at Resthaven Funeral Home. Celebration of Life services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, in Resthaven's Abbey Chapel with burial to follow at Resthaven Memorial Park.
C. H. "Sonny" Bigham was born March 30, 1941, in Lefors, to the late "Tead" and Evelyn (Lambert) Bigham. The family moved to Lubbock in 1950.
Sonny owned and operated C&W House Movers Inc. from 1970 to 2003. Sonny loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. He enjoyed drinking coffee with all his friends at the Pancake House and watching his grandkids at all of their sporting events. Sonny was their biggest fan!
Sonny married Doylene Horton on Jan. 12, 1960, in Shallowater. They had four children. A son, David Dean Bigham, preceded Sonny in death June 14, 1979.
Sonny is survived by his wife, Doylene of Lubbock; two sons, Chris James Bigham and Sonny Bigham, Jr. and wife Barbara; daughter, Shelly Narvaiz and husband Jimmy; six grandchildren, Christopher, Cody and Laston Bigham and Taylor, Sonny and Niki Narvaiz; a brother, "Boker" James Kit Bigham of Shallowater; a sister, Bobbie Howard of Lefors; and stepbrother, Rick Simco of Dallas.
Also preceding Sonny in death was a brother, Harris Bigham on June 14, 1979.
The family would like to thank Becky Sharp, Kathy Mealton, Stephanie Dailey and Rita Wooten of Interim hospice of West Texas.
