HE MARRIED WINNIE LEE JONES ON SEPT. 28, 1913 IN ABILENE, TEXAS. THEY HAD ONE DAUGHTER, MARGARET MELBA.

W. T. (Bill) Humphrey, 58, an Abilene native, died at his home, 609, Peach St. early Wednesday morning.
He had ben ill since Christmas Day, when he suffered a heart attack. He had been in ill health for two years.
He was born July 3, 1892 in Abilene and had lived here since.
For 25 years he had been employed as a salesman for Witherspoon Wholesale Grocery, Grubb Produce, and West Texas Produce. For the last 5 years he had been employed by the City Transportation Co. as a bus driver.
He married Miss Winnie Lee Jones, Sept.13, 1913 in Abilene.
Survivors include the widow, a daughter Mrs. Dick Smith of Abilene, a grand daughter, Margaret Gaye Smith; five sisters; Mrs. Harry Gooch, Abilene, Miss Ruby Humphrey, Abilene, Mrs. Lula Wright, Breckenridge, Mrs. Jim Wright, Nugent, and Mrs. Anthony Truman, Breckenridge; a brother, J. W. Humphrey at Abilene.
Funeral is to be held Thursday afternoon at Elliot's Chapel of Memories at 2 o'clock with Dr. Millard Jenkins, former pastor of the First Baptist Church officiating, assisted by the Rev. W.C. Ashford , pastor of Southside Baptist Church.
Burial is to be in Cedar Hill Cemetery under the direction of Elliot's Funeral Home.
Active pallbearers are R. L. Hale Ernest Johns, Paul Price, Oscar Page, Ira Woolsley and Clay Leag. Honorary pallbearers are to be all bus drivers for the City Transportation, Co.
