Frances Agnello Vivian Frankel
1921-2017
Frances Agnello Vivian Frankel passed away peacefully on 21 June 2017; she was born to Sicilian immigrants, Sarah and John Agnello, on 3 April 1921 in Navasota, Texas. The oldest of seven children, Frances grew up in Houston instilled with deep religious roots and strong family connections. Frances married Lee Frank Vivian in 1939 and married Herbert Frankel in 1971.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, six siblings, her husbands, and great-grandson, Thomas David Hedrick, Jr.; she is survived by her children Sandi and Tom Hedrick, Deborah and Kevin Stuckey, Cathy and Chris Viviano as well as by her grandchildren Kristin and Richard Morrison, Charlotte and David Hedrick, Camille and Ryan Stuckey of Wichita, Kansas, Sabrina and Parker Stuckey of Austin, Texas, Michael Viviano and partner, Ryan Johnson, and Hannah and Stephen Lee Viviano. Frances treasured her fourteen great-grandchildren.
The family recognizes the loving attention our mother's caregivers and nurses at Village of Meyerland Retirement Community and A-Med Hospice of Houston; they have set up a memorial fund in Frances' name to honor her caregivers. The family appreciates all contributions to this fund in the name of Frances Frankel in lieu of flowers or other donations.
All family and friends are invited to celebrate a memorial Mass at St. Anne Catholic Church, 2120 Westheimer, at 10:00 a.m. Monday, 26 June 2017, with reception following in the church's St. Theresa Living Room hosted by her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
