Doc attended Viola schools and graduated 1963. He enlisted in the army and while stationed at Fort Riley in Junction City, Kansas he trained as a dental technician. He spent his life running his own dental laboratory making crowns, bridges and dentures for dentist across the country. He married and had one son and divorced, remarried with two step daughters and four-step-grandchildren. After divorcing, he moved back to his childhood community of Viola, Arkansas where he continued to operate a dental lab until his untimely death of a heart attack. He loved cars, fishing, boating, camping and family.
