TOM FLOOD

Services for former Orland area resident Tom A. Flood, 77, were held Wednesday in the F.D. Sweet and Son Mortuary.
He died Saturday at his home in Chester.
Flood was born March 16, 1910 in Newville, and spent his early years in the Orland area.
A 20 year resident of Concord, he was a park manager with the East Bay Regional Park District. He retired in 1963.
He moved to Chester five years ago.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindy Flood-Pease and Sue Berkfeld, both of Concord, and Sandra Kelso of Pierce, Idaho; a son, Paul Hafner of Sunnyvale; and 12 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Burial was in the family plot at the Newville Cemetery.
