Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, June 24, 2017 at the Collier Funeral Home in Louisiana, MO. The Rev. Bill Maupin will officiate. Burial will be at the Riverview Cemetery in Louisiana, MO.
She was born on August 8, 1938 in Louisiana, MO to James and Mary Catlett Calhoun.
She is survived by one niece, Mary Huckstep (Jeff) of Clarksville, MO, 3 great nieces, Jenna Huckstep and fiancé Sean Casey of St. Charles, MO, Sarah Huckstep and Laura Huckstep of Clarksville, MO, a nephew, William Colbert and family of Clarksville, MO, a brother in-law, Gene Colbert of Louisiana, MO, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and a sister, Martha Colbert.
She was a graduate of the Louisiana High School Class of 1956. She had been employed as a cook for Pike County Hospital until retiring. She attended the First Baptist Church in Louisiana, MO. She enjoyed reading and working cross word puzzles.
Pallbearers will be Brian Foley, Zachary Mudd, Jeff Huckstep, Jenna Huckstep, Sarah Huckstep, and Sean Casey.
