The family will receive friends before and after the service at the residence. He was born March 4, 1920, in Swink, OK to John Lewis and Annie Ladyman Strain. He married Marjorie Melton June 5, 1943. He was retired after 35 years with Proctor and Gambill. Surviving are his wife; son and daughter-in-law, Mac and Mona Strain of Hurst; three grandchildren, Nikki, Sara and Matthew Strain; and two great-grandchildren, Ricky and Cody.'
