Crystal Eloise Hart, 79, of Mt. Vernon, died Friday, Oct. 8, 2004 at Crossroads Community Hospital in Mt. Vernon. She was a homemaker. Mrs. Hart was born Nov. 17, 1924, in Parrish to Ransom and Glenna (Launus) (sic.) Price, and married Thomas Perry Hart Jr. Nov. 21, 1942 in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Her husband died Feb. 1, 1992. Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Sunday at Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton. The Rev. Dennis Preston will
officiate, and those attending the service are asked to go directly to the cemetery. There will be no visitation. Mrs. Hart is survived by her sons Mark Hart and wife Becky of Kokomi, Ind., and Keith Hart and wife June of Mt. Vernon; grandchildren Darren Hart and wife Laura of Ft. Wayne, Ind., David Hart & wife Ivory of Ft. Wayne, Ind., Michelle Asay and husband Kevin of Lafayette, Ind., Olivia Hart of Houston, Texas, Timothy Hart of Murray, KY., and Paul Hart of Mt. Vernon; great-grandchildren Haven Hart, Havannah Hart and Ethan Asay; and several
nieces and nephews. Her parents, husband, infant sister, Wanda Ruth, and brother, Ransom Price, preceded her in death. Mrs. Hart was a member of First Christian Church in Christopher, and she enjoyed her grandchildren, cooking, gardening and visiting with friends.
