Jerry Lee Boatright, age 69, of Springdale passed away Wednesday, June 21, 2017 at Circle of Life Hospice in Springdale.

He was born July 18, 1947 in Fayetteville to Elmer Clarence and Carrie Laveda (Sutton) Boatright.

He was a graduate of Springdale High School, Class of 1965.

He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Jerry was a long-haul truck driver, starting at Willis Shaw Express (WSE) when he was 20 years old.

He was a member of the Johnson Church of Christ.

He enjoyed gardening, traveling in his motorhome, riding motorcycles and building trikes.

He was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Robert Wayne Boatright; one brother; and three sisters.

Survivors include his wife, Darlyene (Pohle) Boatright of the home; one daughter, Teresa Rogers (and husband, Randy) of Springdale; two sisters, Virginia Wales of Kansas City, Missouri, and Ilda Vetetoe of Springdale; two grandchildren, Jeramey Rogers (and wife, Courtney) of Springdale, and Brittaney Rogers of Fayetteville; five great grandchildren, Zaedyn, Madasyn, Kynleigh, Shaelynn Rogers, and Tryston Howell.

Memorial services will be at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 24, 2017 at Sisco Funeral Chapel with Gary Morris officiating.
