GRANBURY TEXAS, JANUARY 31, 1983: T. J. Strain of Granbury died Saturday, Jan 29 in Harris Hospital, Fort Worth. He was the husband of the former Jean Clark Binning of Lamar County.

Graveside services and burial were held Sunday Jan. 30 at Granbury Cemetery with Martain's Funeral in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Strain was born Nov. 15, 1922, in Idabel, Okla, He was a graduate from Granbury High School in 1941 and had lived most of his life in and Granbury where he was a general contractor. He was also active in Boy Scout work.

Surviving are his wife; a daughter, Mrs. Mary Helen Hake of , one granddaughter; a stepson, Lt. Jeran Bonnong of San Diego, Calif; three sisters, Mrs. Fern McNeill and Mrs. June Thomas, both of Granbury and Mrs. Beatrice Montague of New Braunfels and two brothers, Bill Strain and Norman Strain both of Granbury.
