She was born in Council, Virginia and was the daughter of the late Glenn and Rassie Combs McGlolthlin.
She had made her home in the Baptist Valley area most of her life and was a retired health care worker from Heritage Hall in Tazewell, Virginia. She was a graduate of Richlands High School Class of 1949 and attended Bluefield College. She was a member of the United Methodist Church-Dailey’s Chapel.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Bob Dailey; her second husband, Bobby Lyons; sister, Shirley Patrick; and two brothers, Branche McGlothlin and Dallas McGlothlin.
Survivors are:
Daughter: Debbie Roberts and husband, RC of Richlands, Virginia
Son: William “Bill” Dailey and wife, Judy of Chester, Virginia
Three Sisters:
Lucille Dawson and husband, Jim of Tazewell, Virginia
Glenna Couch and husband, John of Mountain City, TN
Sandra Street and husband, Ralph of Richlands, Virginia
Brother: Bobby McGlothlin and wife, Jeannie of Vinton, Virginia
Sisters In Law: Frances McGlothlin and Rose McGlothlin
Grandchildren: Chris Roberts of Richlands, Virginia; Matthew Dailey and wife, Ashley of Atlanta, GA; and Leeanna Dailey of Atlanta, GA
Several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services for Euva Lyons will be conducted Friday, June 23, 2017 at 2pm at the Hurst-Scott Funeral Chapel in Richlands, Virginia with the Dr. Marc Brooks officiating. Interment will follow at Greenhills Memory Gardens at Claypool Hill, Virginia. Pallbearers will be: Chris Roberts, Matthew Dailey, Gary Dawson, Anthony Dawson, Sonny McGlothlin, and Kevin Newberry. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Wes Rumley and Wes Burress. Friends may call from 12pm until 2pm on Friday at the funeral home.
