Roland F. Kasper was born the son of Olive Odenbrett and Roland H. Kasper. He grew up and went to school in the Wauwatosa area. He received a Bachelors Degree in Business from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. He married Miss Barbara Mable Reigner in 1955, She survives. Born to this union were Russell Kasper (Nancy Dorrycott), Brenda (Jack O'Brien), Beth (Bob Wooldridge), and Beverly (John Foyse). He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren.

Growing up, Roly was active in Scouting and the care of his Grandmother, Anna Odenbrett who lived with the Kasper family upon the death of her husband Fred Odenbrett. The family were avid campers and enjoyed the great outdoors, spending summers at Okauchee Lake. While in college, Roly met and later married Barbara Riegner. After college, Roly worked at several department stores as a manager, Gimbel-Schuster and the Grand Store. Later, in the 1960's, he changed careers becoming employed by the L.M.Berry Company, an advertising firm exclusively for the Yellow Pages in local phone books.

Roly and Barbara lived in Wauwatosa, Milwaukee, Port Washington, Baileys Harbor, New Berlin, Waupun and West Bend, Wisconsin. Many weekends and holidays were spent in Door County, Baileys Harbor, "ruffing it" as dad would say, camping in the woods on property he owned off Bluff Road. For several years, his employer, L.M. Berry, Co., transferred Roly to their Nashville, Tennessee office, but the draw of being back in Wisconsin was too much, and back to Wisconsin they moved.

After his retirement, he and his wife enjoyed touring the nation on bus tours. For many years they had a winter home in southern Alabama which they both enjoyed. They maintained their home in West Bend, WI where they enjoyed life in their retirement community.

Roly was a cancer survivor, but later succumbed to a recurrence of that cancer. He bravely fought on until
just three days prior to his death. Family wants to thank
everyone at the St. Joseph Hospital and Kathy Hospice Center in the Town of Polk, WI for all of their generous care.

A Memorial Service and Ash Burial will take place at Cedar Ridge Retirement Community in their Memorial Gardens.
