The victims of a double homicide in St. Tammany Parish Monday night (June 19) have been identified as Donald Gros, 34, of Marrero and his girlfriend Jennifer Magee, 32 of Pearl River. The killings occurred at a home near Louisiana 41 and Max Mercer Road in the Pearl River area.

The St. Tammany Parish Sheriff's Office is seeking the public's help in locating Jason Magee III who is wanted on two counts of first degree murder in connection with the deaths. The suspect is Jennifer Magee's ex-husband, the sheriff's office reported.

Autopsies were conducted on the two victims Tuesday. At the request of sheriff's office investigators, results are being withheld by St. Tammany Parish Coroner Dr. Charles Preston.

Preston and Sheriff Randy Smith will release further information "at the appropriate time," according to a news release from the coroner's office.

The suspect is considered armed and dangerous, although the sheriff's office said the killings are likely domestic in nature.
