Stanley Valentine Jones passed away at Enderby on Friday, March 7, aged 79 years. Stan was born and raised at Port Moody and lived there until moving to Mable Lake in 1976, then to Enderby in 2007. He worked in the woods cutting shakes, Stan was a member of the Royal Canadian Legion, Fish & Game Club and BC Wildlife Association. He enjoyed the outdoors, birds and was an ardent hunter. He will be lovingly remembered by Betty, his wife of 55 years; daughter Cathie (Tom) Golz of Mable Lake; son David (Audrey) of Vernon; four grandchildren Jason (Kim) Golz, Sam (Nadine) Golz, Crystle Jones and Tyler Jones; two great grandchildren Damon and Landon Golz. A Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Thursday, March 13, 2008, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Enderby. Reverend Raymond Parker officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Salmon Arm S.P.C.A.
