Ray T. “Tom” Addison Sr. age 85 of Malvern passed away Saturday June 17, 2017 at his home. He was born in Independence, Louisiana the son of Floyd and Gladys Chamber Addison. He was a heavy equipment operator while in Louisiana and after moving to Malvern worked for T & T Trailers. He loved to trail ride and rodeos.
He was preceded in death by his parents, son Ray T. (Tommy) Addison Jr., three brothers, P.I., Darrell, and Lloyd Addison, step-son, Jimmy Wayne Lewis.
Survivors include his wife of forty-two years, Sibyl Thomason Addison, son, Joseph A. (Joey) Addison Sr. (wife Suzanne) of Folsom, LA, brother, Donald Buck Addison (wife Betty) of Loranger, La. Four grandchildren, Joseph A. Addison of Bogalusa, LA., Jody, Rebecca, and John Addison of Folsom, LA., great grandchildren, Wyatt, Natalie, Jasmine, Four Step-daughters, Marvena Labrije of Lake Providence, LA., Brenda Tullos and Connie Byrd of Tyler Town, MS, and Renee Mercer of Georgia, ten step-grandchildren and 18 step-great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to express their appreciation to Ashley Lee Ollison for all the loving care given to Tom during his illness.
Visitation will be Wednesday June 21, from 5PM until 7PM at Regency Funeral Home.
Another visitation will be held in Franklinton, Louisiana at Crain Funeral Home, on Friday June 23, from 10AM until Noon with burial to follow in Fendlason Cemetery in Folsom, Louisiana.
