COOK -- Died in Dover Township, Athens County, Ohio, March 5, 1878, Silas Cook in the 90th year of his age.
Father Cook was born in the state of Connecticut, Sep. 15th 1778, and emigrated to Athens county in the spring of 1835. Patiently he bore his last sufferings, and died rejoicing in the christian's hope. Hence we mourn not as them who have no hope.
