Tirzah Ellen Kimsey was born on July 2nd, 1843 in Missouri. In 1860, she married Christopher Columbus McCracken who was born February 23rd, 1838.
Their children: Mary E. McCracken b. 1861 • Hannah L. b. 1866 • Lillie Hilda b. 1871.
Christopher died August 24th, 1913 in St. Johns, Oregon. Tirzah died March 8th, 1920 in Ballston, Oregon. They are both buried at Brown Cemetery in outside of Dallas, Oregon.
OBITUARY:
Mrs. T. E. McCracken passed away at the home of her son, Charley McCracken, at Ballston, Oregon, March 6th, at the age of 76 years.
She is survived by her son, Charley, and one daughter, Mrs. Bert Olin of St. Johns, Oregon. 13 grand children and 17 great grandchildren, also two sisters and one brother.
