Born in Greenville County, SC, he was a son of the late Boyce and Edna Campbell Henson. Mr. Henson was a US Navy veteran; he was retired from textiles and after retirement he was custodian at Faith Temple Church for 25 years; he was a member of Faith Temple Church.
Surviving is his wife of 62 years, Evelyn Bayne Henson; his daughter, Robin H. Mullinax; a grandson Eric Mullinax and wife Tanna; a great grandson, JD Mullinax; a sister, Betty H. Batson and 3 brothers, Carl, Donnie & Wesley Henson.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by a son, Randy Henson; a son-in-law, Doug Mullinax; and two sisters, Jeanette H. Tomlinson and Thelma H. Bates.
