DANVILLE – Georgia Hanciaux, 77, passed away at 11:34 a.m. Thursday (June 15, 2017) at Presence United Samaritans Medical Center in Danville.

Georgia was born on Aug. 18, 1939, in Danville, the daughter of Frank J. and Georgia Strahl Sr. Georgia married Ronald G. Hanciaux in February 1962, and he preceded her in death on March 9, 2008.

Survivors include her son, Mark (Justine) Hanciaux of Danville; one daughter, Kim (Craig) Clynes of St. Louis; one brother, Edward Strahl; four grandchildren, Nicolette Clynes, Taylar Hanciaux, Blake Clynes and Courtney Clynes; as well as several nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.

Georgia is preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, eight sisters and one granddaughter, Alexandra Hanciaux.

Georgia was a member of St Paul's Catholic Church. Georgia loved her family dearly and was faith-filled in her love for God. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, traveling to the beach and visiting with her sisters.
