Mary Alice Arthur was born Sept. 22, 1946 to Harlan and Edell Bray in Whiteland, IN.

Mary was a bookkeeper and tax preparier, but first and foremost a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of a non-demoninational church.

Mary Alice was a beautiful young lady and grew to be a wonderful, caring and creative woman.

I am so glad that I was able to attend her 50th birthday party. I remember being at Mary's home one time and her mom thought her white jeans were a little to tight..she told Mary's dad and he just brushed his hands on the ground and "accidently" brushed her jeans. Mary grew up to be a more conservative beautiful mother herself. I never dreamed at these times that I would be saying good-bye to my younger cousins.

This was my third younger cousin who died of some form of cancer.

Surviviros: husband Ron Arthur; children Michele Oswalt, Amy, Jeff Arthur; sisters Lana Johns, Ellen Anderson; brothers Tom, Forrest Bray; mother Edelle Bray Shockley.

She was preceded in death by her father, Harlen Bray; sister, Sarah Anne Pferrer; paternal grandparents, William and Flora (Hyden) Bray; paternal great-grandparents,Tom & Lula (Barber) Bray, Millard Hyden and Nannette (Neely) Hyden Dykes

She is missed and loved by family and friends.

Submitted with honor and respect.

THANK YOU SHARON FOR ADDING PICTURES.
