Mrs. Flora Blackwell died yesterday at her home, 815 Braddock Road.
Born in Rockwood, Pa., she was a daughter of the late Perry and Lucy B. (Wilson) McElfish. Mrs. Blackwell was a member of First Presbyterian Church and had been employed many years at Rosenbaum's Store.
Surviving are a son, Army Major John R. Blackwell, Boston; a daughter, Mrs. Thomas A. Steele Jr., Minneapolis; a brother, Grover W. McElfish, at home, and seven grandchildren.
The body will remain at the Hafer Funeral Home where services will be conducted Saturday at 9 a. m. by Rev. Maurice D. Robertson, pastor of First Presbyterian Church. Interment will be in the IOOF Cemetery, Flintstone, and pallbearers will be Dr. A. G. Thurman Twigg, Max A. Shaffer, Charles Young, Carl Schmutz, Elwood Foltz, John.Murphy, William Teubner and Simon Rosenbaum 2nd.
